Accepting Contract Estimates
The Village of Stockholm is accepting maintenance contract estimates for the summer and winter seasons. Please submit your proposal to stockholmclerk@gmail.com. If you have any questions, please reach out to Dave Hanson at 715-442-4902.
You must include proof of insurance, experience and list of equipment. We will accept until April 8th, 2024.
CONTRACTOR’S SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Village Park: Provide services including, but not necessarily limited to: lawn care (weekly mowing and trimming) beach cleanup, debris removal, assisting the Camp Host, and miscellaneous work.
2. Plowing and removing snow between the driving lanes and the curb in the business district of State Highway 35 and Spring Street.
3. Cemetery on County Road J and the Old Cemetery: Provide services including but not necessarily limited to lawn care, trimming, debris removal, and work-related task.
4. Trash and Recycling: Collect and remove bagged trash in Village business district receptacles including the recycling bin adjacent to the village hall and dispose of it on a weekly basis. During special events, collection and removal of trash and recycling may need to be done more frequently.
5. Incidental work on Village rights of way includes, but not necessarily limited to: weed control, debris removal and disposal, shrub and tree trimming to maintain clear vision at intersections and maintaining the Village infrastructure in a clean and orderly manner.
6. Additional services not included in the scope of work shall be provided on a time and material basis. The additional services include but are not limited to the following: storm damage, Emergency situations, special projects, park flooding, and other work requested by the village.
7. Services will be performed in a timely manner to accommodate village events and scheduling.
